Rick Kiene, a native Washingtonian raised in Seattle area, will tell a story of the US Coastal Survey of Washington Territory with quotes from original Senate documents requested by Pres. Thomas Jefferson, excerpts from Congressional records describing its need for surveying, and the individual etchings made from the coastal and land surveys from1853- 1870.
