Vocal trio Calyx returns to the Brown Bag series bringing heart, a bit of sass and an ear for life's complexities in their harmonies. Jazz, folk and classical influences mingle, as members Karen FitzGerald, Beth Fuller and Laura Shelton sing and play their mix of musical genres; some a capella, some adding Karen's lovely keyboard accompaniment, with a little fiddle and an occasional penny whistle tossed in for good measure. Calyx, all formerly of Bellingham group, Equinox, are sure to please old and new fans alike. This event is sponsored by Village Books.
