Brown Bag: The People of Cascadia- Pacific Northwest Native American History

Join author and illustrator, Heidi Bohan, as she shares the story behind her recent book, with a digital slide show, interactive displays and original art. Bohan is an ethnobotanist, native plant and cultural expert who has been teaching about Pacific Northwest Native culture and the environment for the past 15 years. She currently teaches at Bastyr University, Snoqualmie Tribe, Northwest Indian College and through her own program Native Arts & Cultural Center. Books will be available for the author’s signing. This event is sponsored by Village Books.
