Sandison’s Cirkut Camera and How it Works
Sunday 08 August 2010, 02:00pm

Join Ron Karabaich of Old Town Photo, Tacoma as he shares the mechanics of the 1909 Cirkut camera. He will bring cameras from his collection similar to the one J. W. Sandison used to shoot many panoramic photographs in his 50 year career as a commercial photographer in Bellingham. Karabaich will describe the cameras and equipment used in the old days compared to the much smaller cameras used today.  In his work as a commercial photographer who specializes in panoramic photographs, Karabaich has traveled the world and photographed hundreds of people, subjects, and locations for his customers.
