Need a fun activity for the kids on early release days, snow days, or teacher workdays? School’s Out! Workshops at the FIG are the answer! Workshops combine art and creativity through unique art-based experiences and experiments, with themes and projects that expose participants to a wide variety of techniques, tools and media.

Kids full of energy they need to release? This high-speed workshop is the answer! Using recycled materials, they will build a rubber band race car that is powered by what physicists call potential energy which becomes kinetic energy when released.
