Brown Bag: John Scurlock: Snow & Spire: Flights to Winter in the North Cascade Range
Thursday 01 March 2012, 12:30pm

$3 suggested donation/Museum members free
Considered an alpinist, pilot and “gentleman climber” John documented nine years of flying in remote places of the North Cascades in his home-built Van's RV-6 Aircraft. The remarkable images he captured provide a breathtaking vision of one of America's most magnificent mountain ranges in its most savage season. John will present photos from his recently published book Snow & Spire: Flights to Winter in the North Cascade Range, and sign books afterward.
