Meet some of the talented Native Weavers who are participating in the annual Weavers Teaching Weavers conference at Northwest Indian College. This is a great opportunity to collect stunning traditional and contemporary native artworks. The featured artist is Carol Emarthle-Douglas who will demonstrate contemporary coiled waxed linen basketweaving. Ms. Emarthle-Douglas won first place at the 2010 Heard Museum Indian Fair and Market, Best of Class for Basketry, and First Place at the 89th Annual Santa Fe Indian Market.
