ESSENCE OF BELLINGHAM PHOTO COMPETITION
March 3, 2014 -- Amateur and professional photographers of all ages are invited to participate in the 2014 Essence of Bellingham photo competition, sponsored annually by the City of Bellingham and the Whatcom Museum.
The competition is a great way to share Bellingham and its special people and places. Winners receive special recognition by Bellingham Mayor Kelli Linville and the Bellingham City Council, have their work on public display, featured on BTV10 and the City website, and added to the Museum's photo archives.

OPEN CALL FROM ANCHOR ART SPACE IN ANACORTES
March 26, 2014 -- Open call for Art to anyone and everyone! This is your chance to have a say about the controversial coal export facility at Cherry point and the open coal trains moving through the Northwest. You do not have to be an artist to participate, you simply have to make something that is hang-able on a wall or is free standing and is smaller than 15” X 15” X 15”. Anchor Art Space is not taking sides or jurying the work- we want everyone to have their say. The entry fee is $35, which also includes a membership to Anchor Art Space.
