Audubon: Where Do Baby Eagles Come From? (Virtual)

September 28 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

- Free
Bald eagle in nest

Join the North Cascades Audubon Society for their monthly program. The September event will be offered virtually via Zoom. Learn about the lifecycle of one of our most notable (and abundant) local raptors, the bald eagle. Michelle Landis has spent five years surveying eagle nests in Whatcom and Skagit counties and brings them up close and personal with pictures and videos from our resident population of eagles. Landis will also answer audience questions.

The Whatcom Museum acknowledges that we gather on the traditional territory of the Lhaq’temish – Lummi People – and the Nuxwsá7aq – Nooksack People – who have lived in the Coast Salish region from time immemorial. The Museum honors our relationship with all of our Coast Salish neighbors and our shared responsibilities to their homeland where we all reside today.
