Circus Demo and Workshop at the FIG

February 18 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

- Included with Admission/Members free
Black female identified person with two braids, a turquoise striped shirt, suspenders and tan pants and a white male identified person in a wheat feel holding juggling pins and wearing a gray pin-stripe vest and pants, a yellow button shirt and a hat

Join us at 10:30, 11, or 11:30am and clown around with Keelia Jean and Wren Schultz in the Family Interactive Gallery (FIG)! Only jaws will drop as they share their juggling skills. Keelia has been a circus performer in Bellingham for the last few years and Wren has been performing around Washington state and the world for many more. They enjoy teaching workshops for kids and performing in schools. Bringing clowning and juggling as entertainment, these friends are often seen at fairs, festivals, the Bellingham Circus Guild, and community events.

Inspired by these circus acts? Check out the fun historic photos on the second-floor hallway of the Lightcatcher afterwards to see our photo exhibit, Vintage Vaudevillians.

And if the grown-ups want a little more history about the vaudeville circuit of Bellingham, join Kolby LaBree from Bellinghistory Tours with the Good Time Girls for a presentation in partnership with the Whatcom County Library System’s Whatcom Reads book selection The Cold Millions by Jess Walters.
