The Whatcom Museum is excited to re-introduce Family Activity Day this fall with a Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead celebration. Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mexican holiday going back to time immemorial that honors deceased ancestors while celebrating their lives. Our festivities will include paper marigolds, paper banners, face painting, rock skull decorating, a community offering table, dance performances by Rumba Northwest, and Juanita’s Mexican food.
All ages and family types are welcome to participate! We hope to see you there in celebration of this Mexican cultural holiday!
$3 general admission/members free
