Join us to celebrate the holidays in style at Old City Hall. In addition to the beautiful trees and décor adorning the building, each Saturday we’ll be making a different holiday craft to celebrate the season. Fun for the whole family!
Dec. 3rd: We love the mystery, suspense, and surprise of gift giving. Make a peek-a-boo cat Christmas toy or a moving picture menorah.
Dec. 10th: Spruce up your holiday decor by making ornaments with us. Paint a ceramic Old City Hall ornament or make a woven yarn design.
Dec. 17th: We’re bringing back our favorite paper craft of Scherenschnitte, the intricate German art of paper cutting. Grab a pair of scissors and turn ordinary paper into over-the-top ornaments.
Drop-in for these activities. Admission is by donation and all supplies are provided. All ages are welcome.
The Whatcom Museum acknowledges that we gather on the traditional territory of the Lhaq’temish – Lummi People – and the Nuxwsá7aq – Nooksack People – who have lived in the Coast Salish region from time immemorial. The Museum honors our relationship with all of our Coast Salish neighbors and our shared responsibilities to their homeland where we all reside today.
