Join the Whatcom County Historical Society for a live-streamed presentation with local painter and muralist Lanny Little. Little will present three short videos about unique early Fairhaven buildings, two of which are still with us: The Morgan Block building and the Knights of Pythias building. The Fairhaven Hotel was razed in the 1950s after a fire. The videos are narrated by Jim Rich, who portrays Dirty Dan Harris, the colorful ‘founder’ of Fairhaven.
Lanny Little’s murals can be found throughout Bellingham and Fairhaven. He has also created videos about historic buildings in Fairhaven, the Mount Baker Theatre, and the history of railroads in the Pacific Northwest, which can be found on YouTube.
The format of this presentation is via YouTube livestream. A link to access the livestream will be emailed to registrants the day of the event. You can also visit the Museum’s YouTube channel to watch the program.
