In partnership with Western Washington University(WWU), Katazome expert and artist Fumiyo Imafuku, visiting from Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, will talk about the delicate art form of katazome. Imafuku’s art is featured in the Museum’s exhibition, Katazome Today: Migrations of a Japanese Art. This lecture will take place on the WWU campus in Miller Hall, room 138.
