Update: In response to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak, this program has been canceled. The next Museum in Mind program will be held June 2.
The Whatcom Museum invites people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners for a two-part program designed to engage participants with an art-filled experience. This two-hour-long program consists of a conversation-based gallery tour followed by a studio art-making activity. A light snack break is provided between the tour and activity.
Cost: $25 Members/$30 Non-members (fee covers both participant and caregiver)*
To reserve a spot or ask questions, please contact Museum Educator Chelsea Macias at firstname.lastname@example.org or 360.778.8935. Remaining spots will be available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. All payments will be processed day of at our attendant desk.
This is a recurring program offered on the first Tuesday of even-numbered months, and is supported in part by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as the Fund Three Pines Foundation and KBF Canada.
