July 24: Local Dinosaurs

Dinosaur bones are often found when people are digging deep into the earth for construction projects. Bones from a Giant Ground Sloth were found while building the Sea-Tac airport, hikers found bones of a rhinoceros-like dinosaur near Blue Lake, and workers found bones from a carnivorous Theropod while digging in the San Juan Islands. Join us to learn more about these creatures and how to look for dinosaur bones in the wild.
