On January 27, 1904, sports fans throughout the nation fixated on a professional wrestling match held in Bellingham, Washington. Though a small town at the time, Bellingham had a national reputation as a “hotbed” of professional wrestling. The championship match was the culmination of many professional wrestling matches held in Bellingham in the early 1900’s.
