Paintbrushes made from plants

Paint Play encourages little hands to brush, mix, and touch using a variety of art materials. Explore different drawing and painting techniques, from finger-painting to watercolors to tempera. Sept. 12 & 14: Nature Paintbrushes Children will paint a masterpiece by using leaves, flowers, and other natural materials to create their own natural paint brushes.

Take a docent-led tour and learn more about the artist and his works featured in WANTED: Ed Bereal for Disturbing the Peace. Our trained docents will provide insight into his works, as well as discuss Bereal’s background. Tours begin in the lobby of the Lightcatcher and last one hour.
