The Studio is open for free-creation and sensory exploration, and our supply bins are stocked with plenty of materials! March 20 – 24: Newts Who has rough poisonous skin and uses celestial navigation? Newts, of course. We will be making rough-skinned newts this week.

Science Lab inspires innovative thinkers and future designers and engineers! Engage in sensory experimentation, build math and science skills, and strengthen hand-eye coordination. Classes are led by a FIG educator and rotate weekly. For ages 18 months to 6 years old with an accompanying adult. Paint Play encourages little hands to brush, mix, and touch using a variety of art materials. Explore different drawing and painting techniques, from finger-painting to watercolors to tempera. For ages 18 months to 6 years old with an accompanying adult. Mud Painting: Is all mud the same? We will explore the different textures and colors found in the mud from our backyards.

Music Makers, Body Shakers invites little hands and bodies to experience making music with a variety of percussion instruments, while moving and grooving to their sounds. Musical activities are led by a FIG educator and include songs, rhymes, dance, and listening with opportunities to play with an assortment of instruments. For ages 18 months – 6 years with an accompanying adult. Included with admission/ Members free.
