Low Sensory Sunday

January 26 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

- Free
Low Sensory Sunday kit

Designed for children ages 12 and younger with autism spectrum and other sensory-processing disorders, Low Sensory Sunday offers a safe, dedicated morning in the Family Interactive Gallery (FIG) in the Lightcatcher building.

The building will be closed to the public during this time, offering a quieter, personalized experience for children. Staff are not only trained, but they are passionate about providing accessible and exploratory playtime to children and families.

We will offer different activities to choose from, including painting, dancing, and more. A quiet room will also be provided for “cool-down” time, should a child need it.

Offered on the last Sunday of odd-numbered months, the program is free to attend. For questions or to access pre-visit materials, contact Chelsea Macias at camacias@cob.org or by phone at 360.778.8935. RSVP requested, but not necessary.

This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as the Eleanor and Henry Jansen Foundation.
